immunoroots is currently mainly my project, Daniela Dwersteg, built together with Lisa Dostmann from immunoloco.com. Luckily, there are also co-authors who bring their own perspective from pharmacy, research and practice. P.S. New perspectives and ideas are always welcome.

Learn moreimmunoroots is a knowledge platform for patients, family members, and healthcare providers, focusing on mast cell disorders, histamine and salicylate intolerance, IC/BPS, dysautonomia, ME/CFS, autoimmune diseases, and everything in between. Here you’ll find well-researched articles, the latest research, and insights from everyday clinical practice. Written for people, not for search engines—and still easy to read even after a rough day.
A quick word on the people behind immunoroots: I'm Daniela Dwersteg, author of the English platform, personally affected by chronic illness myself and passionate about making complex health topics understandable. immunoroots is the English sister project of immunoloco.com, founded by Lisa Dostmann, a Heilpraktikerin (German state-licensed health practitioner) with a focus on immunology. Lisa serves on the board of VAEM e.V. and on the scientific advisory board of the Ehlers-Danlos Organisation e.V. Together with guest authors, we're trying to make these complex conditions more accessible.
What is this newsletter about?
Sharing both new research that’s truly relevant and practical tips that work in everyday life... Sometimes a fresh perspective on a familiar problem, sometimes just a little pick-me-up for those days when nothing seems to go right. Plus, of course, new articles as they’re published.
Who is immunoroots for?
For patients and their families who are looking for reliable information. But also for medical and pharmaceutical professionals who want to stay up to date on complex immune disorders. The articles are written in an accessible style, yet their content is at a level that doctors and pharmacists find useful.
What sets immunoroots apart?
Lisa is a naturopath, I’m a nutritionist, and we’re both patients and research enthusiasts. For some, that’s a contradiction; for us, it’s just everyday life. immunoroots combines clinical experience with the latest science and the perspective of someone who knows firsthand what it feels like when your body isn’t cooperating. Living with a messed-up immune system is stressful enough. Here, things can be a little easier sometimes.
Does registration cost anything?
Registration is free and gives you access to all articles and the newsletter. No subscription, no hidden costs. If you'd like to support immunoroots, you can do so voluntarily.
